More Dune Awakening news is here, following Joel Byros and Funcom’s short video breaking down the post-launch plan for the game. Price points for each version of the game have been revealed, and yes, the Sardaukar armour can be yours…for a price.
So, there are three versions of the game. The base version costs $49.99 and comes with the game (obviously), the Terrarium of Muad’Dib, and a Sunset Dye. The deluxe edition will run you $69.99, but allows players to start five days earlier, comes with the first season pass and that tasty Sardaukar armour, as well as all the stuff that comes with the standard version.
Now the ultimate edition gives you all of that, then loads more. For a hefty $89.99 price tag, you get the Caladan Palace building set so you can make your base all fancy. You also get the Stillsuit from 2021’s Dune film, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack. Finally, two more cosmetics for you – the Blue Dasher Ornophopter swatch and the Dusk Rider Sandbike swatch.
Later today at 6PM CET / 1PM EST / 5PM GMT / 10AM PST a livestream held by the devs at Funcom will be answering community questions. So tune in if you’re readily fiending for more info. It’ll be a good thing to tune in for, the devs have been fairly open with plans and general info in the past, so who knows what little tidbits will pop up?
