Another Crab’s Treasure, certainly one of the coolest action games released last year, is getting a massive free content update on April 21. This was revealed via a nice little trailer on the official YouTube and social media platforms for the game.
This updates includes a New Game Plus mode, a Boss Rush mode, a new bestiary, upgrades, and some stylish costumes. In addition, there are new fights in the game itself, including a sand worm that looks proper scary, as well as a new boss fight that has been left a mystery at the time of writing. You’ll have to jump in and track it down for yourself.
Another Crab’s Treasure was an indie hit last year, able to cut aside its own audience in a year packed with AAA action games with way more budget and marketing. It tells the tale of an undersea adventure, as Kril tries his best to find his shell and way, way more. It’s a great game you should absolutely play if you haven’t yet. We even highlighted it in our end of year celebratory period, something that probably means something to someone.
Its developer, Aggro Crab, recently announced that physical versions of the game will be coming out this year and that its next game will be made in partnership with Landfall Games, in a collaboration the two companies have dubbed “Landcrab”. This game, seemingly titled Peak, is coming later this year. Something to look forward to!
