Hollow Knight: Silksong! It’s just shown up at today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct! No, really! We’re not messing with you.
In today’s fresh look at the game we’ve all heard so much noise about, we got the news that it’ll be coming to Switch 2 at some point in 2025, and absolutely nothing else! Seriously, it just rocked up in a massive compilation of games coming to Switch 2.
“Hollow Knight: Silksong, 2025″, read the caption. Hornet jumped around a bit, and ran in the usual platforming way. The stream’s chat went absolutely nuts with SKONGs. It was beautiful, if very brief.
So, there you go. All of those massive rant posts you wrote after Silksong didn’t show up at last week’s original Switch Direct, they worked! You were right to freak out about stuff like those Steam updates that, among other things, suggested it’d be coming to GeForce Now.
You can skong, whatever that means, freely and without fear of being mocked for at least on day, before probably going back to being laughed at by people who don’t have your unbridled passion for one particular video game that happens to rhyme with the nonsense phrase ‘drop a shite, big pong’. You go, girl. Not for a shite, obviously, unless you’re near a loo.
For the first time since about 2019, you can live. Go outside, touch some grass, hug a Hornets’ nest cos it reminds you of someone, then write us a nice card from the hollow-spital.
