The Nintendo Switch 2 is getting a cute little introductory game that’ll guide players through all its new features and quirks, it’s been revealed today during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct.
Called the Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, this game is a paid digital game that’ll be available to download when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5. In it, you can explore around the Switch 2 itself, learning more about each feature by playing nice little minigames dedicated to each fancy bit of tech packed into the console.
It’s reminiscent of Astro’s Playroom, PlayStation’s own fun game released alongside the PlayStation 5 as a sort of celebration of the PlayStation brand as well as a way to make new owners of a shiny new PS5 have fun while acclimating with the new features of the console. The reveal trailer for Welcome Tour mentions “secrets”, which is awfully tempting.
We don’t know the price for Welcome Tour as of yet, but if you’re looking for a nice entry way into the Switch 2, it seems like an exciting way to kick off your new console journey!
